Young Adult Ministry

Our Young Adult Ministry is intended to provide fellowship, fun, and the growth of faith in young adults, both in and out of college.  We started small group meetings on Sunday nights.  The next meeting will be January 25th, 6:30- 8:30 PM at Jen and Marc DeJong's home (4254 Ashwood Lane, Belleville, IL).  We will continue our discussion on Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren and the logistics of the Tijuana Mission Trip.  Contact Alex (adow@siue.edu) or Jen (jen@fupcyouth.org) for quesitons or any other information.  Here is the Newsletter for Young Adults for January 2009:

Tijuana, Mexico Mission Trip 2009

The Young Adult Ministry is organizing a Mission Trip to Tijuana from May 23-30 2009.  We will be building a house for a family over the week.  Here are some forms for anyone interested in attending:

Eleven of us traveled to New Orleans, LA to do hurricane relief work May 19-26, 2007.  We enjoyed our stay at Canal Street Presbyterian Church while working each day for the Child Evangelism Fellowship ministry.  Our work included moving *lots* of dirt, prepping for a foundation to be laid, and painting the interior and exterior of a house.  We felt God's presence all week long through the people we met.  It was a fun and productive week!
